Our Norfolk Location

In the centre of Wroxham and the world famous inland waterway, the Norfolk Broads, Hotel Wroxham is perched on the banks of the River Bure, enjoying unrivalled views. Wroxham is considered the jewel of the Norfolk Broads and is a vibrant town that attracts locals, visitors and returning guests year on year.

We’re situated just eight miles from the medieval city of Norwich, a 15 minute drive from Norwich Airport and approximately two hours from London. Plus, the train station is just a two minute walk away, providing easy connections to both Norwich and Cromer, and the beautiful and varied Norfolk coastline and its stunning beaches are also close by.

Wroxham has retained its charm and character, shaped by its working roots and long standing boating culture, with plenty to see and do throughout the area.

The Broads & Wildlife

A rich tapestry of dramatic landscapes, big skies, wildlife and endless waterways, woven together by ancient history. Some of the rarest wildlife in the UK has made the Norfolk Broads its home. Look out for the Norfolk hawker dragonfly, or the swallowtail butterfly plus aquatic flora and fauna. Photographers and painters are attracted by the inspiring landscapes, big blue skies and dramatic orange sunsets.

Beaches

With 45 miles of unspoilt coastline, Norfolk offers a diverse landscape of beautiful beaches. The coastline varies from wide sandy shores and pine backed walks to marshland, dramatic clifftops, traditional pleasure beaches and historic piers. Horsey Beach is a lovely sandy stretch where seals and their pups can often be seen during the winter months, while Waxham Beach is dog friendly and backed by rolling sand dunes.
